Woman raped by multiple men outside church following nightclub exit
Surrey police confirmed that a woman was sexually assaulted by multiple individuals outside a church following her exit from a local nightclub. The attack occurred between 2:00 and 4:00 BST on Saturday, as the victim left Labyrinth Epsom. The incident is believed to have taken place near the Epsom Methodist Church on Ashley Road.
Det Insp Aine Matthews noted, “This is an extremely distressing event, and specialist officers are providing support to the victim.” The investigation is in its early stages, with authorities actively seeking to identify and locate the suspects.
Authorities have not yet released full descriptions of the perpetrators but are conducting thorough inquiries. Officers are urging anyone present in the area during the specified time frame to come forward, especially those who may have encountered the woman in distress.
