Three charged in connection with arson attempt
Three individuals are now facing charges after an arson incident was attempted at the premises of a Persian language media outlet in northwest London. The event occurred near the Volant Media building in Park Royal around 20:30 BST on Wednesday, when a burning object was hurled toward the structure. However, it landed in a nearby car park, where the flames were swiftly extinguished.
Accused persons and court date
Oisin McGuinness, 21, Nathan Dunn, 19, and a 16-year-old boy from north London are all charged with arson intended to threaten lives. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the three British nationals are scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday. McGuinness has additionally been cited for dangerous driving.
“Oisin McGuinness, Nathan Dunn, and the 16-year-old boy have been charged with arson with intent to endanger life,” stated the Met Police. They are set to face court on Friday.
