Murder Charge Over Primrose Hill Stabbing

The Metropolitan Police have announced that a 27-year-old man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of Finbar Sullivan in Primrose Hill. Sullivan, 21, was discovered with severe knife wounds near the scenic viewing spot in north London on Tuesday. The suspect, Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu of Southbury Road in Enfield, was arrested on Friday and formally charged on Sunday. He is set to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Investigation Continues

A second individual, in his early 20s, was also found with stab injuries on Regent’s Park Road on the same day. His condition was deemed non-life-threatening, and he was hospitalized for evaluation. The police stated that the inquiry remains active, with further details expected as the case progresses.

“All of his friends said he was the light, the leader. His friends’ parents loved him. This is why it’s so tragic,” shared Chris Sullivan, 65, the victim’s father, speaking to BBC London.

Sullivan, a film student at the London Screen Academy, was remembered by his family and peers as a cherished figure. His father emphasized the deep impact of his loss, highlighting the emotional toll of the tragedy. The incident has sparked community concern, with ongoing efforts to uncover the full circumstances of the attack.
