Watch: Reporter Told to Fabricate Domestic Abuse Claim to Secure UK Residency

A BBC investigation has uncovered that some migrants are fabricating domestic abuse allegations to prolong their stay in the UK, leveraging policies designed to assist genuine victims. Legal advisors, including Eli Ciswaka, are reportedly coaching individuals to create false narratives. Ciswaka allegedly offered to concoct a domestic abuse story for £900, aiming to present it to the Home Office as a justification for the client’s residency status. He declined to comment in writing but, during a phone conversation, denied being willing to fabricate the reporter’s abuse claim.

“The misuse of domestic abuse rules is unacceptable, and those lawyers enabling this will face legal consequences,” said Jess Phillips, the Home Office minister responsible for safeguarding.

Lord Mandelson Released After Arrest

Lord Mandelson was released on bail following his arrest on suspicion of public office misconduct, as the Metropolitan Police continued their inquiry. The former prince was detained on February 19 and brought to a Norfolk police station for questioning. After spending the day in custody, he was allowed to return home under investigation. His departure from Aylsham police station was captured on camera that evening.

King’s Presence Amid Scandal
