Arrest Made in Connection with Primrose Hill Stabbing

A 27-year-old man has been taken into custody on murder charges after a fatal stabbing occurred in Primrose Hill. The victim, Finbar Sullivan, a 21-year-old filmmaking student, was found with severe injuries at the scene of the attack. He passed away shortly after being discovered. Police responded to the call at approximately 18:30 BST on Tuesday, where Sullivan was identified as the sole fatality.
Alongside Sullivan’s body, officers also located a second man in his twenties with stab wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where medical staff confirmed his condition is stable. The Metropolitan Police announced that a 25-year-old suspect was arrested for aiding the perpetrator. Both individuals were detained on Friday and are currently being held for further investigation.

“My thoughts remain with Finbar’s family, who are receiving ongoing support from specialist officers during this extremely challenging period,” said Det Insp Andy Griffin. “While two arrests have been made, our team is still working tirelessly to identify all those connected to the incident.” Griffin also expressed gratitude to members of the public who have shared information and urged anyone with footage or details from the area to contact authorities. “Residents can anticipate heightened police activity as local officers intensify patrols in Primrose Hill and surrounding neighborhoods,” he added.
